Freelance graphic designer by day, surface pattern designer by night!

Hello, I’m Julie, a creative designer with 15 plus years’ experience. I can work from my studio at Platf9rm, on site or in-house as part of a team.

I have helped London and Brighton consultancies, agencies, charities, publishers as well as individuals and start-ups. I specialise in Print, my favourite communication medium!

As a side project I create surface pattern prints and illustrations for textiles, home décor, gift wraps, stationery and greeting cards.

I was born in Paris, moved to London in my early 20s and now live in Brighton.

Projects I enjoy working on (non-exhaustive list):
– Design and layout of catalogues and illustrated books
– Creation of style guides, brand guidelines and grids
– Choosing the right paper, a special finish, a bespoke format for a project
– Image search, illustration research, mood boards, creating a colour palette
